I tried a Dalmore when I was up there the other week. Very nice, but searching the web there seem to be a lot of different varieties.

Can anyone recommend which is the best?

Anybody who fancies trying a few different malts and finds themself in Ullapool go to the Seaforth. They have over 200 in the range from£16:80 -- £3:50 per 35cl nip,all brands and prices on a three page "Menu"-----pays your money and takes your choice.

This is Seumas' Bar in sunny (ha!) Sligachan, where Felicity and I went on holiday by accident this week. I suggest we go in mob handed, start at the left hand side of the top shelf and then work across and down. It might take some time...
