Bank Holiday Monday

Okay here's my sort of scetchy plan for the bank hol on Monday.

I'm thinking of having a ride out from Darlington up to the south west side of Glasgow, pop in to my mums for a cup of tea and slice of cake, then ride back.

Proposed route is from Darlo over to West Auckland on the A68, up the A68 towards Crook, then turn off up the WEARDALE road towards Alston (good road), From Alston head up to Brampton (fantastic road) , then over to Carlise/border and cross over into Scotland, up the mototrway for a couple of mile them take A75/A76/77 (Dumfries, then thro' Ayrshire up to Kilmarnock), then local roads up to where my mumsie lives.

Back the same way (or different if we decide upon after looking at maps), after I've eaten mummy out of house and home.

It will depend on several things, like weather etc, but I'm thinking of doing it, help to make up for the the fact that I missed the PM Pt II, did anyone go ?????????
