Question Help with cam swap

can someone please help me with the cam change swap for the carb model, posted a while ago on here and followed a thread (i thought) properly. front cylinders fine and the hole bike turns over ok but it would seem that its firing at bdc i think and not tdc do i have to start all over again HELP

Well you can't have caused the spark to fire anywhere different as that's triggered from the flywheel.

Get it to TDC on front and post a pic of your cam sprockets.

Had my flywheel off aswell, so could i have put that back on on the wrong stroke? just checked it all out and it looks fine? This is starting to twist my melon man

There is no stroke other than where you put cams. Flywheel/pickup gives one signal per rotation, it is wasted spark but every spark is BTDC. There is no way to get it to spark at BDC instead unless you forgot woodruff key or something daft.

Post a pic of sprockets.

That at TDC yeah?

Can you see the timing marks on flywheel with it machined like that?

Yer can see marks on flywheel they've been scribed on, can't really see them on photo. To check iv put injection cams in the inlet and the carby inlets in the exhuast and remarked cams up from a pic I found on here?
