Default Visor pricing!

Went to my local bike shop the other day whilst out on a ride with a view to picking up a dark visor for those random sunny days.

Didn't have one in stock for my AGV Ti-Tech but said he could get one next day so said great, order it please.

Then he said did i want to pay now and it'd be £58!!! Had to mutter my excuses and leave, 58 quid for a piece of plastic!

Anyhow, questions are:

- Anyone know the best place online to possibly get it cheaper, that sounds too steep but the few places i've tried are roughly the same.

- When i bought my lid, the guy in J&S said to steer clear of aftermarket visors and only buy genuine AGV OEM items. Has anyone tried one of the 3rd party AGV compatible visors?

+1 for www.racevisors.co.uk

This is where I got my mirrored visor (Shark RSX). Arrived in about five days of placing the order.

Yeah, tempted. My lid is mainly white so i reckon the dark tint will look the mutts. See loads of lads round our way with dark visors so reckon its not a big issue with the coppers.

I wanted this http://www.racevisors.co.uk/categori...=80&p=178#ptop, but at 40quid i'd rather get a new set of gloves.

In regards to the coppers i dont know, I'd rather not chance it but if you do keep a clear one close by so you can swap it should the police object.

Tip of the day:

Avoid Silver/Iridium Visors.

One scratch/scrape and they are ruined.......

Quick question, I know dark tints block out light, do the iridium/mirrored visors just do the same, but long a bit fancier?

Just bling, nothing useful.

Another +1 for racevisors.
