Have no worries, it will be finished. Aiming to have it on the road for August 2014.

This is it as stands at the moment...

...tank is away getting grit blasted ready for painting. Been spending lots of time machining loads of spacers, bosses, linkages and the like. Most are away being anodised. Been buying lots of Suzuki parts, new and used, for the engine. Got some super sticky Wetlezzer tyres and K&N gubbins as well.

Exhaust is the next big hurdle.

Devoting some serious thought to whether this...

...can be persuaded to fit.

Buy and import it regardless!!
You'll make a profit on it. Personally get it and go with the bike to a good backstreet exhaust builder and say 'build me this for this'

Default SV special build - S-pokey-V.

I'll be very interested to see how this comes together, sounds like it could be seriously cool!

Cracking project. Watching with interest.

As an aside, I reckon you live just round the corner from my folks! Those garages look very familiar.

Frame has been garnet blasted and scotchbrited. All the parts I've made have been plated or anodised and small fortune has been spent on Pro Bolt stainless and titanium fasteners.

Forks have been overhauled and the bottoms anodised.

A custom oil cooler has been made by Matt at AH fabrications http://www.ahfabrications.com/and mounted with fittings from Torques racing.

Rolling chassis is now complete.

Tank and front mudguard should be back from the painters next week.

Engine has been stripped. Heads are going to be gas flowed. Flywheel and starter gear are at I. Porter ltd https://www.facebook.com/IPorterLtd?fref=ts for lightening.

Crank is going to JHP for lightening and balancing - although a Ducati specialist they know more about L-twin engines than anyone else in the country.

A set of Fi cams and a 4 degree advancer have been bought, and I'll be using hayabusa pistons and a thinner headgasket and leave the engine at that for now.

Cases are in the frame so that exhaust fabrication can begine.

A set of 2nd hand panigale silencers has been bought from ebay and I offered them up under the engine this morning. It looks promising - there's enough clearance under the silencers so that under full suspension compression they won't drag on the ground.

The pipework routing is going to be tight and will require some heavily ovalised sections but it all looks achievable.
