Default Simple set up question

At 16 stone would you set the front and back suspension settings both to the max setting?

Maybe. Go ride a road you know well with the bike as it is, then make the suspension change, NOTE IT, then go ride it again and see how it feels. If it feels a little too wrong, then find the compromise.

I'm 15 stone ish , have rear shock 1 off max & front maxed , however I recon I need stronger fork springs & 15w oil , gonna get some hagons springs when I can . Will live with the std rear-shock as its basic but ok for the road , its the forks that need tweaking.

Cheers Steve

Max would be too much, measure your static sag! Front springs are probably too soft anyway, but at the rear normally the stock spring is fine up to 15 stone, so 16 stone is only a little over that - max preload would probably be overkill.
