The maximum recommendation I would personally make for dropping the forks through the yoke is 10mm, max.
Even at that max drop of 10mm, you'll start to notice high speed instability over stock fork settings. Jota usually do a few kits to raise up clip-ons. I'll do a quick search! |

An inch is quite a lot to drop the front by.You start running into issues with the fork sliders hitting the bottom yoke between around 15-20mm IIRC
LSL and a few other companies do higher rise bars though. I'm with the others do some decent rides on your own. Make sure you can waggle your elbows funky chicken style and you're not locking your elbows at regular intervals, this makes sure your not taking weight through your wrists.
