Back pain. I've had it six months. Pills, exercise and physio not helped. Saw my GP today and she said 'You have BUPA, use it to see the specialist who sorted you out ten years ago'. So appointment booked, no doubt it'll be an MRI followed by a couple of cortisone injections. What with that and my dodgy heel I feel way older than my 46 years at the moment. Constant pain really makes one a bit miserable.

But I'm still more mobile than many people do this is only a small whinge.

I work with someone who appears to think General Elections are a form of state sponsored entertainment.
When it was said that another election could be round the corner on the next couple of years she said, "why would they think we would like that?"
She's in her fifties and allegedly intelligent.

All the Tories needed to do was promise to abolish tuition fees, they would have got young votes, also promise to keep triple lock and no limit on care costs, this would have given them the grey vote, the result would have been much different. Labour make promises using taxpayers own money to get them to vote Labour. Problem is Tories don't have magic money trees and Labour do.

Just to call you out on the magic money tree.
One party didn't cost out any of the manifesto promises except for free school breakfasts which it got wrong.
Labour did cost theirs.

Where does the tree stand?

HS2 was just an extension of the EU high speed rail network to enable EU Oberfuhrers to speedily travel around their extended fatherland, so no real need for it any more. To be fair HS2 was inherited from Labour anyway.

Arguably Trident keeps vital skills in this country and helps Scotland, and submarines are the most cost-effective way of keeping a deterrent, surface warships are now too vulnerable.

Bought a new frigging expensive BBQ. Got the gas bottle. Got the food. Got people round.

Bloody BBQ was damaged in the packaging. 20 Mile round trip to replace it.
