I'll be honest I would prefer a main base type GM. But I'm more than happy to come along to anything. But be warned I am a complete skinflint and I dunno if I fancy camping, getting too old for that kinda nonsense.

The last Gm was my first as well. I voted for 'c' as I'll come to next years if I can. I did like the Kinlochleven hotel and everyone in one place.

Nope. Beinglas Farm can't accommodate until September, they are booked up with West Highland Way walkers. The place on St Marys Loch has some availability but in my opinion is too biased towards wigwams and camping and room options are limited. We are all older than we were when we did the first GM and quite a few are getting less tolerant of camping. At some point this week I'm going to phone the Kinlochleven as although it'd be the third year in a row, it is perfect for what we need. If that doesn't work out, then it is just going to be choose a date, choose a town, and book your own accommodation boys!

Hopefully Mark and Helen still have some weekends free.
They've installed new showers in the rooms and the Bothy Bar now has full length windows and hopefully should have the patio area finished for the brave non midge fearing souls.
