Bbbbrrrrrrrrrrr *shiver*
Anyone got snow this morning? Here in Basingstoke it's almost freezing, but we're just on the edge of this frosty snow belt. Gotta go looking at cars today though to replace the Astra, so gonna be riding all over in 1 degree temps. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I'm thinking thermals, balaclava and neck tube, winter gloves and inners, and maybe a bottle of vodka.

Re: Bbbbrrrrrrrrrrr *shiver*
Job done. Road down some filthy back roads to a garage in the middle of nowhere. Had about 90 layers on. Started to snow for a sec, but got away with it. Then got this puppy.
It's amazing what you can get for £1200. Drives beautiful, good service history, excellent condition inside and out. And, obviously I can't put the bike in the boot of a Passat, so he followed me home 10 miles and dropped it off for me. Good day!

£1200? Looks a bargain. Just a guess 125,000 miles?

Re: Bbbbrrrrrrrrrrr *shiver*
Good guess chap. Are you sure it wasn't yours?! 122k, but it's had it's 2nd cambelt, is very tidy inside and out, engine sounds good, drives good, last MOT advisory didn't have anything expensive on it. Touch wood it'll last us a couple of years.
-48!!! WHAT?!? I might've been a bit girlie, but I wasn't even slightly nippy. I'm all for layering up and then riding in 100% comfort, rather than being a hard man and riding around with gritted teach and erect nipples. It's all about millions of layers dude.

Good choice of car Fallout. A 120k mile Passat with a FSH is just run in. What age is it? Last edited by -Ralph-; 31-01-12 at 10:24 AM. |

Filmed this yesterday driving down Caerphilly Mountain... we have a snow line, and it's really abrupt!

Woah. Where is that? Edit: @metalangel - that's a bit surreal. Weird aspect ratio on your camera too. What's going on there?

Re: Bbbbrrrrrrrrrrr *shiver*
My iPhone, it wouldn't stay wedged up against the windshield on its side (I spent ten minutes trying), so I had to film it like standing on its end.
If the conditions are the same again today I'll try tying it to the passenger sunvisor with some wire and film it again. |
