Seeing Btrett's shaker (oo-er) reminds me of the cocktail making lesson I did with a client team as a fun afternoon activity about a year ago. We had a scream and of course I got a taxi home but the bartender who was taking the session was tidying up the spirit bottles after us as we went through the menu. If there was only a shot or so left in the bottle he'd drain it to a high ball glass and down it. There were seven of us, we got through several bottles, so as you can imagine the guy could barely stand up straight by the end of it! Hilarious fun and well recommended, although I cannot remember now what drinks we made for the life of me...

Hah that sounds fun Trev, never done a proper led class but I watch a decent amount of “Cocktail Chemistry” and “HowToDrink” on YouTube so I quite like playing around.

I’ve got a 100 cocktails bucket list scratch off poster so I’ve been trying to knock a couple more of those off tonight.

Rob Roy (scotch Manhattan)
2 parts scotch
1 part sweet vermouth
Dash of angostura bitters

The Gold Rush
Bourbon (60ml)
Lemon juice (20ml)
Honey Syrup (20ml)

That is exactly what they used to give kids for cough/cold medicine when I was growing up.

Been a while, good to hear from you Brettus.

And you BM, glad to see you’re still logging on

Tonight’s tipple for starters is Tequila Sunrise.
Super easy to make, shake orange juice and tequila. Pour into glass then add a little grenadine syrup till it looks red at the bottom and has a cool gradient

(Stir before drinking, looks ace but tasting two different drinks in the same glass is weird)

Sounds like a good reason Mav
Tonight I mixed up a White Russian and a White Cuban for comparison (Vodka and Rum respectively)

Hoopers? I tried dandelion and burdock again for the first time in (what must be 15-20) years a couple of years ago then found that, rather good IMHO let us know what you think when you crack it.
