want to buy a car - thinking of an ex hire car
Hoping I can find a well treated used car, not too old, serviced properly. Do you think an ex hire car would suit?

You might also want to consider ex-diplomatic cars (just Google diplomatic car sales) - you may be surprised just what sort of cars they have & the prices are generally pretty good.

Ask your local dealer if they have any ex courtesy-cars available too.

I was quite surprised at the willingness of every single person to completely destroy a hire car - over £20 (that for all we know could be fairly due to the company). no wonder it's hard to find a hire car that is cheap to hire with all the repair costs they must endure. I have bought an ex hire car, my sister currently runs an ex hire car Oh and yes I have returned a hire car with a broken steering rack before - didn't get my deposit back on that one, but that was just racing someone at lights cos I was late & ran out of room & hit the kerb, not because I was trying to destroy the car, If they'd given me a faster car I'd have had 'em |

Destroying a hire car is one thing stu, but RACING? That's illegal AND dangerous! no wonder there aren't any decent condition 2nd hand hire cars with people like you around
