Default NW3.......Accommodation News!

Ok, so I decided to ring the other bunkhouse today with the intention of booking for those not in Pete's Eats, only to be told it was already fully booked for that weekend!

After screaming and banging my head against the wall for 5 minutes, I had a flash of genius!

Those who did Pete's Eats last time will remember that the owners also own the Bistro directly opposite. Now, they do have accommodation, but only if booked for a minimum of two nights. Nevertheless, not being one for taking rules as rules, I gave them a ring.

Due to my charming personality and bare-faced cheek, I have been allowed to book Flat 1 for the night

Flat 1 sleeps 10 people. There is one double room, one twin room and 6 bunks. As Pete and I are the only couple, we will move to Flat 1 and take the double room

This will free up a twin room in Pete's Eats for those who really want to be in there.

It also means there are 7 more spaces available for those wishing to come

Well done Lissa! Top job. Now for anyone throwing their teddies from the pram cos they want to be in Pete's Eats, I for one am willing to move out to the new FLAT 1 accommodation to make room.

I suspect that there will be some tooing and froing on the day while folks decide if they want to sleep or get hammered on the night, so don't let where you nominally will be sleeping put you off.

I was thinking that Flat 1 might actually suit those who don't tend to stay up late anyway. As all the socialising and noise will be in Pete's Eats, those who will be wanting an earlier night might be better off in Flat 1.

Just a thought.
