On a polishing wheel I'd guess, with appropriate polishing soap (different soaps for different metals).

Yep, exactly right. It would be a doddle too. I love my polishing wheel, although not got much call for it lately.

The problem there is, if you fit that you'd have to polish every thing else on the bike to match
