whats a good trackday tyre?

hi there am thinking of getting rid of my r6 track bike and turning my road sv into a minitwin.was wondering what a good trackday tyre would be the cheaper the better i nomally buy scrubs for my r6. any advice would be appreciated thanks

Supercorsa's are in my opinion the best you can buy. I have a set of scrubs for sale. I also have a set of Bridgestone BT003's up for sale too. They arent as good as the supercorsas for racing but for a track day tyre they are superb.
I'm in Lincolnshire too by the way.

Best value v's performance, Supercorsa pro's. if you're buying new.

Or obviously, as Typhoon says, any scrubs.

I've run Rennsport RS1 front and RS2 rear and Supercorsa SC1 frt and SC2 rr on my CBR600 and find they feel about the same. I prefer the Rennsport front because I use a 120/60 rather than a 120/70 and just like the feel on turn in over the higher profile - you couldn't get the Supercorsa in the correct 120/60 size last time I tried to buy new ones. I have mis-matched with Rennsport front and Supercorsa rear with no ill effects.

I am led to believe that Pirelli and Metzeler use the same carcasses but slightly different compounds and tread patterns

Diablo SuperCorsa and the earlier Dragon SuperCorsa cant beat them.

Im going to give a set of the new BT003 rs rear and a 003 rs type 4 front in Feb next year a go. raced them this year on the CB500's and they were good and didn't break the bank.

+1 on the Supercorsas.

I used a set of scrubs and they were miles better than Michelin Pilot Powers which i though were pretty good at the time. (Still are good tyres...)
