Default Nitron's offer to me.

I have been speaking to Maxton, K-Tech and Nitron about upgrading the suspension on the XSR700. Nitron came back with an offer of knocking off 50% of their prices (and include setup) if I loan my bike for them to test/evaluate their suspension. They would need the bike for 2 weeks.

My initial thought was to go ahead but then I wondered if this would invalidate my warranty if the bike is used as a road test mule. I need to dig out the warranty to read the terms.

Nitron's cheapest shock is 432 +VAT and their cheapest cartridges are 618 +VAT. So 1260 (inc VAT) cost for both would be 630.

Thats a good deal, I would be biting their hand off.

I have a Nitron on my TZR and am very happy with it top quality. I've also seen their kit close up after its been well used and it stands up to use. I might well be going to them for my next project bike...

I'm no expert on warranties but expect if you change the suspension your suspension wouldnt be covered, but thats expected. If the engine grenaded and the manufacturer wanted to say no because of a rear shock I dont think that idea would hold water.

In summary and I cannot stress this enough, do it. Thats a cracking deal.
"A little enthusiastic?"

May I add here, GG is awesome and I think I am in love with Stretchie...he rocks my world!
