Blast from the past...
came across these pics, just like my old man had as family transport when I was a kid, just though it interesting.

see now we are a health and safety gone mad society you wouldnt get away with it.. I recall in the late 70's me my brother and sister all lying down on sleeping bags in the back of a montego with the seats down on 6 hour journeys to northumberland before the motorways .. no way would they let us do that now..
