Time for something new(er) KJ. My old Cav is still going, but this maybe its last year too

Ebay's another source of cheap cars, although what you'll get for your budget I don't know.

I have no idea what to do now. Cant ask my mum, shes already done way too much for me and is retired now so needs her savings and pension, wont ask jeff cos hes done waaay too much already, ex husband isnt interested in trying to help, so dont know where else to turn.

My lovely muffs may soon be in the 'for sale' section

Hun, my budget is a big fat zero! Even e-bays not that good!

Cars seem to be pretty cheap in the p'boro area so at least theres that to help.

So what was wrong with the car in the end KJ apart from the knackered rear suspention and dodgy stains on the back seat?

Oh my god, youve been in it, i dont remember that night

Problems include dodgy turbo, exhaust, cv boots, welding required on sills, brake pipes, coolant leak.... i stopped listening at that point
