Yes. They don't hand it out to 28,000 spectators! That would cause a riot.

I suppose the BBC thought their headline was more newsworthy than, "Police stop w@nker in BMW" |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
After Iggle cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and only half a working kidney last October I thought I might not have long left with him, he's only 7 but seemed thin and listless.
Today I had a blood test done when he had his booster jabs. The special and very expensive diet I've got him on has stabilised him. He's put on weight, his coat is glossy again, he's full of energy and best of all there's no further deterioration in his kidney function.

However Piggle cat has put on weight too. He's 7.5kg, not obese but a bit chubby. I did offer him a quinoa salad but he didn't look very impressed.

Lets be honest here. With a name like Piggle, he was never going to be a skinny cat. Give the poor lad a treat.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I didn't name them, they were adopted as adults.
I tried to rename them Courtney and Curtley when I got them - as if you ever think big, black, intimidating it;s the two huge West Indian fast bowlers that spring to mind, but no, they wanted to stick with Iggle and Piggle. Right now Iggle is standing on the keyboard headbutting me which makes typing tricky. He's a very silly cat.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
We have a puppy to supplement our 3 cats, a cross Pomeranian/Poodle called Jet. He's lost his bottom canine milk teeth so he looks rather like a Wallace and Grommit style of dog at the moment
Courtney and Curtley would be cracking names for large cats! |
