Default Abba Stand

Got a Abba stand for Fathers day
What a wonderful tool
Easy to use & makes working on the bike so easy

using a jack under the engine, both wheels can be lifted from the ground.
Work can be carried out on wheels, brakes, suspension and more with ease.
Never need to use paddock stands again

Only down side I can see, is that when lifting the bike up, the stand pushes the side stand up, so DON'T forget to put it back down when you lower the bike back to the ground

I've got one too, you can even get a kit that bolts into the foot peg mounts and then you can remove the swing arm.

Yes get the swingarm removal tool, then you can use it on any bike too.

I love mine too, though I'm not sure about jacking up the front for removing the front wheel etc - the bike seemed to be really unsteady when I tried it.

I'm planning on getting one of those stands that lifts the front at the headstock (at least I think that's what it's called ).

But then you can't get the head bearings off

Tie the bike to the roof if it feels unsteady, the usual cause when you support the bottom of the engine is it wants to balance on the engine instead of the stand.

put the jack as far forward as possible
a couple of inches makes a difference
I placed my jack just behind the oil filter, steady as a rock

ah ok, I'll try it again then and try the jack in a different spot, maybe I had it too close to point where the stand holds the bike (the swingarm pivot?).
