just won a fenda extenda off ebay, the last owner said he glued it on instead of using self tapping screws anyone else glue'd theres on and what glue is best to do so? thanks

yeah i glued mine - used araldite (not rapid). I took the mudguard off to glue it.

i didn't fancy sharp screws near my tyre. I've had no problems at all with it.

I used outdoor dubble sided pads from a DIY store

I used the self tapping screws. But once they were in I removed them filed the end down slightly then put them back in. I did toy with the idea of glue only, but dont fancy finding out what happens if it comes of at speed. Unlikely I know but rather be safe than sorry.

I used araldite rapid on mine and its held for ages at speed and in carp weather. just make sure you get all the carp off your mudguard first.

I used 'Sikaflex 221' to bond mine on (& its still going strong on Richie1743's bike

The motor trade use it in body repairs, I got my tube of it from the local 'Motorfactors' type store
