Wonder no more! Not only did I get there (in the dry), I got round the actually Rideout on the Saturday (in the wet) and home again today (in the dry\wet\dry\wet\...)

I know some people have reservations about a Fenda Extenda actually being necessary but based on my experiance this weekend I'm damn glad I put it on.

Cloggsy glued mine on (his then, mine now) with selastic, hasn't fallen off yet... touch wood.
as for being necessary, I'd have to say Yes.
