Racing - Oulton Park Saturday 18th April - SV650.org

Hi all,

Some more racing coming up. Oulton Park on Saturday 18th April with the Wirral 100 race club.

Lots of different classes to provide a full day of racing (well, from around 11:30 onward

) including our favorite SV650 in the mini-twins class. I'm running number 46, a blue SV650 K3.

Camping usually available the night before if anybody is interested.

I'm going (without dog) as the brother of a friend is also racing.

Flymo, is the paddock / pit lane open or do us plebs need a pass?

You are working that weekend?

Poor Red will stay at home (I checked if dogs were allowed at the circuit).

The paddock is always open, no passes required. You get to wander around and watch bikes being prepped etc if that's your thing.

Come and find me and I'll get the kettle on. We normally pitch camp at the inside of turn 1 as its a little safer for our kids being in the corner of the paddock.

As you enter the circuit, continue straight on to where the bar/cafe is located (think its called Chequered Flag or something), turn left through the main paddock gate and bear right over to turn 1. I'm normally there with a caravan, white Transit and a green Renault. (You have my moby number anyway)

Loads of space to park bikes/cars etc in the area where I pitch up.

Just a reminder in case anybody fancies a day out watching some great racing!!

Oulton Park tomorrow, practice from 9:00am, racing from about 10:30/11:00am.

Looks like a nice day for it too.

cheers guys, picked up two 2nd places. Some young wipper snapper turned up and pipped me to the post

Good racing though, no injuries
