Racing at Oulton Park - Saturday 17th Oct - SV650.org

Hi all,

Just to let you know I'll be racing at Oulton Park on Saturday the 17th October, the final race day for me this year.

Loads of racing to watch and a good chance to meet up with other .org members. If its not leathering down we'll have a few disposable bbqs on the go, always room for another burger or two.

Come along and have some fun, kids welcome.

I'll be there Friday evening, racing all day Saturday. Practice normally kicks off at 10am, racing from 11 or 11:30. There is space to pitch tents, why not camp over and enjoy a few beers.

its a doddle Dave. Depending on when you were planning on getting there I could always pick you up from a local train station here. I'll smuggle you in in the back of my van

tbh im thinking of riding down as its about 50 mile and it will hopefully start getting me used to higher distances again

I was there yesterday and stood right on Cascades at the point where Gowland binned it big stylee. Got a great view. Never seen a bike travel so far, thing ended up in the lake!

Then couple of minutes later, saw the Harris crash at Shell on the big screen, whole crowd groaned and winced at that one. Glad the dude was ok as didn't look good at the time.

there's been a major **** up at some point but the bottom line is that the date is incorrect. Racing is not on the 17th, its the 24th.

I'll post an update when I know whats going on.

Right, checked this out and there had been a date change that wasnt properly communicated earlier in the year. The race is on the 24th and as such I'll be on bloody holiday on that date.

So, cancelled I'm afraid. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience but cant be helped.
