swing arm paint
hi, when i was adjusting the chain and wheel alignment on my K8, the alignmant marker bracket turned as i was loosening the axle nut and scratched the swing arm. any ideas on the best way/ paint to sort this out? Cheers

you can touch it up for a quick fix but otherwise your looking at a repaint, pm if you need any advice and I'll help you best I can

To stop this happening I use a Carver or G-clamp with some thin wood in the jaws to clamp the marker bracket to the swingarm. I had this happen many moons ago on a 600 Bandit so when Diane got her SV650 I was ready for it. I did get a small pot of touch-up made to match but you could still see the damage if you looked really close.

Mine had a little corrosion so I sanded it and repainted the area with silver wheel paint and you can hardly tell!
