On a curvy I woudn't recomend it.
I had one on mine and it split due to the tight space under the tank. It almost set the bike on fire It split on the out side of the filter, near the join. You may have better luck depending on the postion, mine was near the middle. However to my knowledge the SV has one fitted as standard, possibly tank side, but I'm sure others can confirm this. |

oo does it? have one already fitted.?
I have put a new petrol hose on recently..and thought this might be a good idea.. only cost me a quid anyway _ but I do get the odd humpty bumpty ride if I get low on fuel and feel like all the crud is being drawn into my carbs,,

There's a wee gauzy number in the tank... I put an inline in as well, it should be OK if the hose isn't too short.
