They are always saying that. Although I think I will pick up some more. They used to sell Solaris film before which I think was Ferrania. Kodak Ektachrome slide film will be available in a few months. This near anyone? 252990015302 or this 263036704680

Do you work at Jessops, admin? What's the deal with the passport photo service, do they have a little studio in there somewhere? I need some taken for my Canadian passport application, and they have to be done by a commercial photog

I do. Nothing sophisticated. A pull down background that is actually a projection screen. We shoot with a canon 100d and a nissin i40 flash.

We process on a fuji dye transfer printer. The fuji system has built-in templates for all the popular passport sizes including Canadian. With Canadian we have to stamp the back with business details, sign and date confirming that we took the photo and no one else.

We charge £9.95 but we guarantee the photo, so if it gets rejected we'll shot again for free. We also include a voucher for 50 free 6x4 prints.

I only do two days a week. It's more of a hobby 😁

To be honest I only use Jessops as a last resort if I need a film done quick seeing as Boots are winding down. Its £8 for one hour.

Excellent thanks admin, that's just what I need. Will try the local one and see what they say. It's funny, they insist on the countersigning, no home photos etc., all very old school. For my dad's pension update form it had to be filled in by the bank (yeah right) and their official stamp on the paper. Happy birthday by the way!

We've had an influx of customers from Boots recently. Their loss our gain. Up until a few weeks back we were sending films to Germany to be processed. Currently they're going to our St Albans shop. Still a 2 week turnaround.

That's quite a turnround (2 weeks) considering some branches offer 1 hr or 24 hr processing.
The radiator cover is on by the way.
