Post Pre-load adjustment on AL7

Evening all. Just wondered if anybody had adjusted this and what to. The manual is very vague and simply says factory setting is on 3. I've always found suspension a little squidgy on back roads but have just started taking a pillion and found things a little softer still. Regarding adjustment, is it just a question of using provided tool and giving it a firm twist - again manual a little vague. I'm about 15 stone and daughter about 6 stone (Mrs a little heavier .)

I adjusted mine for carrying a pillion and then put it back to standard.
The standard setting seems fine for me.
Its a simple matter of using the provided tool to turn the adjuster as required, one click at a time.

Same here. When I got my SV back-end was a little bouncy so just took the rear shocker up a notch and all cured. My old Hondas were dual shock so I used to have to adjust them both depending on if I was riding solo or taking a pillion
