Default Wales - Porthmadog - Place to Stay?

Hey people,

going to Porthmadog on the 2nd BH in May so that'd be 25-28th of May. Anyone been there b4 and knows of a biker friendly place to sleep over?

Cheers

Dunno anywhere really, as I'm local (ish). Have heard good reports for the Bikers Retreat though. Dolgellau is about 15 minutes from Porthmadog as the bike flies.

If you want some romance, you can stay in Port Meirion. Not bike friendly as such, but is essentially a gated village.

Excellent place, have stayed there a few times, in fact was there the other week back But chances of them, or most other places in that area, having anything available over the May bank holiday is slim though always worth a call, a few others that may be worth calling

I have been to Cwm Pennant Mountain Centre a few times but that was on school trips. They have accomodation there and I suppose if all else fails and you can't get anywhere to stay you could always give them a call.
Here is a link to their site:
