Default Hyperthetical speeding question

If you were riding down a virtually empty dual carriageway with a 50 limit at around (indicated) 65 and you then see a camera van in front (only videoing the front of the vehicle) would you expect a NIP in the post?
If you did get one what is the level of evidence required to link the video to your vehicle?

What makes you think they would only be set up to capture front on images? (Hypothetically speaking of course)

Cos the van is in front it can't use number plate recognition on a m/c

If they had more than one camera it'd eat into their margins.

many also have forward facing cameras so they can get your number as you pass by.

Now my response on seeing a man filming me from his golf with a hair dryer would be to accelerate, meaning by the time he had put down the camera and picked up his pen I would be well away. But jail time speed is not advisable and I could never condone anyone trying this to avoid a ticket from an unmarked police car.

I think the OP is just defining the imaginary scenario. When I've seen camera vans set up it seems they are always set up to catch an image of the rear of the vehicle. But I'm okay with imagining the OP's proposition.

If caught by said van at an indicated 65 mph I'd expect a ticket for doing about 59-60 mph in a 50 mph limit.

Clock van. slow down . As you pass pop the bike on the back wheel and they can't see the plate
