Back in Kirkby Malzeard for chrimbo in the cage, may be up for a boxing day meet for a quick pint/coke/coffee not a million miles away (Masham/Leyburn/Ripon).

Boxing Day meetup sounds like a good idea.

It'll be a good excuse to escape from the family and the roads should be pretty quiet.

I just hope the weather is nice to us.

The destination isn't really an issue for me. I'm happy anywhere I can get a warm, comfy seat, a decent brew and a bit of grub. Some decent roads nearby would be a bonus though.

Tim, D'you have a bike in Kirby or d'you want a backer/crogie?

I'm afraid I hate going pillion, it gets worse each time I give it a try! No bike in Kirkby, but if you're off out with a stop somewhere I'll come and see you in my warm lhd cage.

It'd be just like Ewen and Charlie! The Short way up, around and back with Tim as the support vehicle!

We'll also need some local fixers for the southern bit. There's talk of savages in those parts!

lol am pulling your leg James... do whatever rideout is gonna be the best for you hun. If there`s more peeps in your area doing the Catherine Wheel and it`s a nicer ride then go for that
