Use the search function, its been covered loads and loads and loads of times.

Depends how you ride, I always was around the 120 miles mark before the fuel light came on...

From brimming fuel light starts to flash on my K1 Curvy at 120 miles +/- 5 miles depending on how its ridden and thats with a litre left in the tank. Solid comes on at about 140 miles and you aint got much left after that !Read a thread not long ago that someone unlucky member ran out VERY FEW miles after the solid light - I always fill up as soon as the light starts to flash.

What would be more interesting as a post is how long it takes SV owners to post a thread about fuel economy...

A sort of: How long till you post about tank range affair.

I think 1000 miles.

I must be riding like a real pussy average 150, but did see 168 before flashing light came on once. Didnt even know it went on to a solid light. Scares me not having a fuel tap with reserve on

110 - 120 to flashing light , work on approx 10 miles per litre or 45 mpg

most I've put in is 15 litres and bike was started to miss due to lack of fuel , tank supposed to be 17 l I believe , the solid light had been on for 5 miles , so I recommend not going far on the solid light unless you like pushing ....

Cheers Steve

I've been commuting from Plymouth to Portsmouth (Fareham) for a couple of weeks and i'm really surprised in the difference i get. On a Sunday night when i leave i can get all the way which is 170 miles just as the light comes on but on a Friday afternoon i can get about 130 miles before i have to refill. I can only put this down to traffic and having to use the gears more. Changing the topic slightly. I'm so glad that i went for the SV, I think it's amazing how far i can ride without having to change gear, i ride the coastal route (A35) to Portsmouth and once i'm into 6th i rarely have to change, the engine just has so much pull. Just thought i share my opinion. Ride safe all.
