Re: Building From the Ground Up
Well guys I had to respray it. First I got a little tank sealer on it. No big deal at first. And 2 (I can't believe I'm fixing to admit this) I got on it and still had a screwdriver in my back pocket. It left a deep gouged the cowel.
Same color but added a slight bit of titanium. Also made the stripes darker. Respray by Jacob Martin, on Flickr Last edited by Jacobus; 29-11-17 at 04:29 PM. |

Done
Well guys its been whole lotta fun. Actually its been a blast. A year and two months. All I have left to do is install a license plate. I took it on the maiden voyage today. We're calling done. Its funny how it feels... the foot pegs, angle of the foot controls, hand controls, seat, every thing is placed where its comfortable for me. I can't tell you how nice that is.
I thought I was going to leave it matte, but every time the tank got a little bit wet, the gloss just took my breath away. This forum was the biggest help and encouragement so thanks guys. Done by Jacob Martin, on Flickr Last edited by Jacobus; 28-12-17 at 01:36 AM. |

Re: Building From the Ground Up
Cool pic and I like how it feels one with you, it should do after the effort you put in.
Pity it's not a great time of year to be giving it full gas. Nice work

Re: Building From the Ground Up
That's looking good. Like the stripped back cafe racer look of it.
