Default RST Cobra Vent Lid - Anyone got one?

Busters are knocking these out for £29.99 at the moment.

They get 4 stars on Sharp. Just not sure what size I need.

Anyone had one? What was it like?

Yer, I purchased one last week as a spare. Very good helmet for the price. All the padding can be taken out etc, has plenty of ventilation, visor doesnt steam up on me, although I have not worn it in the rain yet. Its a little noisy but nothing to bad, a great buy for the price. looks a lot more expensive than it is.

Taken a few pictures for you. I got a big head so im an XL, fits very well on me.

That looks the ticket, but I'm not sure which size I need. Do they vary across makes!

I can only comment on the 2 I have. My other lid is an AGV V-Flyer. The AGV seems to be a little looser. The Cobra vent being quite tight. But that could be down to the AGV being used more.

Yes, measure your head and see what size you are in the guide. The other problem is (sorry) that not all helmets fit the same shape head, the best fitting helmet for me is an Arai.

Cheating tip; go to you local RST dealer and try on the helmets, then buy a cheaper one online.

Cheers Dave - been trawling for the last hour and managed to get an RST Cobra Vent 1940 for £25 + £4.99 p&p. 4 stars too that better than some arai ones.

Only shame is it is silver and not black, bike is mainly black there are some anthracite/silver bits though.

Got a large my Nitro one is a large and I should've replaced it when I came off and whacked my head on the floor (almost a year ago).

The sharp test isn't the be all and end all of how good a helmet is.

No, that is true, but as a guide it is a useful tool.
