Default Hitchin speed checks

Just to let peeps know that there was a big speed check this morning on the A505 just as it comes into Hitchin. It's a 30 limit but most vehicles do 40 or more. About half a dozen police officers, a large Volvo and Pan European.

Remembering that I've seen them at this spot before, I always look a long way ahead for any trace of slime green and today it was there. I went past at dead on 30, gave them a little wave and noticed they were somewhat miffed that I'd seen them .

The last time they did this they were there every morning for a week, so if you go that way beware.

There's also an unmarked silver Merc C200 on an 02 plate that I saw stop someone and I've seen it roam around Hitchin, Baldock, Letchworth (and presumably Stevenage) too, so keep your eyes open.

Nope, I had it in fifth gear at just under 3k revs just to be on the safe side .
