Re: Pratcial Test - Consultation exercise
Mental, splitting it up isn't too bad, but the price?!?! £90 for the test?
They f##ked up changing the test in the first place, they f##ked up implementing it. Now they're trying to cover up the first 2 f##k ups with robbery!

Re: Pratcial Test - Consultation exercise
If they are splitting the test into two parts then what is the point of the CBT? Isn't that the first part?

Re: Pratcial Test - Consultation exercise
Seems to be two things to me.... 1) Revenue raising - bikes being a solution to congestion/pollution = cash opportunity and 2) deterrant for new riders...
I agree that the CBT should be considered the first part.... perhaps beef-up the pass requirements a little, but increment the test into two parts - cr+p. A new rider has CBT, Theory and test atm. Split the test into part 1 and 2 on a DAS path.... £££££££ And all this with the fatality rate known to be dropping... FUBAR |

Re: Pratcial Test - Consultation exercise
Fatality rate will be well down this summer IMO due to less people having bikes as toys.

Re: Pratcial Test - Consultation exercise
Good news about splitting manoeuvres from the road riding is that failing one means its only 15 to resit that bit.
No-one taking the test should be failing on the road riding bit. |

Re: Pratcial Test - Consultation exercise
Aye but it's still sodding expensive. I've put my reply in, got a few "scrap it and go back to old test that works fine" comments in there.

Re: Pratcial Test - Consultation exercise
How much are these monkies paid per year out of our taxes to come up with this kind of crap?
Rather than replying via a form that'll be ignored, I propose we start lobbying our MPs to ask questions in the House as to what justification the DSA have in proposing this ludicrous and expensive change. Our MPs are there in the House of Commons for a reason, use them people. |
