Right in order of ownership, all Google images

Great first bike

My first bike on HP, also great & much maligned

Pity about the camchain, still a great bike, handled well and was pretty fast. Brakes were fine, so long as you looked after them.

After that my first big V twin. The one I had was a bit neglected, and I got rid of it after it let me down on the morning of going to the IOM. Strictly speaking it was only a simple fault, but it was the final straw.

Back to more UJM, didn't like the 16in front wheel, but great on motorways. Non stop from Dundee to Felixstowe, with only fuel stops. Sold it when I brought my first flat

What I was thinking of when I bought one of these I don't know, another money pit. I obviosly didn't like it, as I don't even have any pictures of it in any of my albums.

My first & only 2 stroke bike, it was quite good fun

Now its the SV

Second, RGV250L. Should have kept it. Will always be gutted over selling it:

Sadly I do not have photos of my first two bikes which I owned way back in the the very early 90s.

So imagine this covered in bright pink Hammerite, and I do mean the awful hammered finish in nasty baby pink. It still got stolen despite my best efforts.

Now imagine this rescued from a skip, painted in matt black blackboard paint and smoking like a pensioner on a 100 per day habit! It was truly terrible and it only ran once, sadly this was when it was also stolen!

Finally in 2008 I applied for my provisional license and started riding bikes properly. I bought my SV and promptly failed my DAS by crashing into my instructor.

Which resulted in owning this to learn on. Henry the CG125 BRJ

I loved this little bike and truly regret selling it.

Next came Agnes the battered and nasty Yamaha XJ400, which blew up and became an XJ550.

Also in our garage we have the Kwak GTR1000 and Carol's ZRX1100.

Borrowing the wife's bike and getting a puncture made me popular.

So that was my bike history, have an owl...

That red 'un's gorgous!

I'm going to get a proper scooter and "do it up" one day.

My two and only bikes...
