Bath warning
Warning
Dont have a bath when you are tired as you may drown like I just nearly did when I fell asleep only to be woken by Linkin Park on my ipod Last edited by minimorecambe; 24-09-10 at 08:07 PM. |

Re: Bath warning
I've fell asleep in the bath loads of times and woke up when my nose has gone under water

Re: Bath warning
That reminds me, I'd better go and check on Mrs BP, she's in the bath...

Re: Bath warning
I love sleeping in a warm, bubbly bath. When i was pregnant i'd be in there 5 or 6 times a day!!

Re: Bath warning
I often sleep in the bath. In fact, I've just woken up from a nice long nap in a warm bath.

Re: Bath warning
My friend Louise from Braintree died a few weeks ago when she drowned in the bath. She suffered with MS and was extremely tired that day because she hadn't slept the night before.

Re: Bath warning
Loz, I'm really very sorry to hear that.
MM - It's not normally just tiredness unless there are other factors, like exhaustion as most people will wake as soon as their nose goes underwater. I would say though, NEVER have a bath if you're drunk, on any kind of drugs as if you fall asleep then, you may not wake when your nose goes under. Then of course, you could be like me...have a glass of baileys at the "time" of the month when you're already tired after a run of nightshifts so have stayed up all day and stand up in the bath to get out, only to have MAJOR headspin, pass out and end up with severly bruised shins, a fractured nose and skin missing from your face!!! |
