Vintage film cameras

Going back in mid September. The few shops that sell film cameras are expensive, I need to find junk shops and antique markets I think. I'll certainly keep an eye out.
Based on what I saw last year, it would almost be worth buying cameras to take out there, use them and flog them for a profit before coming back.

Goo price on the triangles, they often go for a fiver a pair! Lynx sounds like a good one. I have an Olympus S and Konica S from a similar era and similar lenses, give great pictures, hard to describe but really good, more SLR than Tessar. Super Program is interesting, same basically as my Super A (different name), looks very Hunter S Thomas in the case and all
No idea about the Mamiya lens. The fungus will clean off but not yet sure what's left behind, there does look to be some pitting though. A while back I bought a Zeiss Contessa LBE o a bit of a whim, good camera but superfluous so sold it on after sorting it and running a film through it. It had pitting on the rear lens element which I convinced myself was enough to let it go, and some pics had some flare, but a mate of mine said it was no worse than he would expect anyway. I think he was being a bit generous but maybe even with some pitting, it could still be usable. Anyway I suspect I'll get nothing from Toshi so will have to wait a bit longer before getting on with it. It's a nice camera otherwise, film loading is easy, though the shutter speed and aperture are a bit fiddly, guess I'll need to get used to them.

Just stuck the roll of film I found in the EOS 300 in the tank, hopefully some images on it. Stand developing again, 45mins dev, 45 mins bleach then 7 mins fixer and 1-2 mins stabliser at 25c. Just need to do the film I found in the Baby Bessa next if I can get it on the Paterson reel.

The film is done. I got half a roll of someone's cat...
Having trouble loading the 120 film onto the Paterson reel so will do it another day.
Loaded the film on the AP reel instead. Only two images on the film.

Battery and other bits have arrived for the A1. Everything seems to work fine which is a relief. It does have the cough which I'll look at next along with new light seals. The other bits that were missing were the motorwind cover and the grip which are now fitted. I won an auction for a Canon 35-70 lens which should arrive soon. I'm so pleased to have one of these after a 40 year wait.

I thought so as well. Been out shooting with the mju this afternoon. I have also been checking out eBay and watched an mju auction finish. Went for £141!
