Default fuel sensor removal

Hello people,

might sound like a stupid question but, How do u remove the fuel sensor on the fuel tank. Needing to change it onto a different tank. Can do all the rest but never taken the sensor out before.

All info is helpful.

Cheers Ginger

Should be an easy job - I apologize in advance for the poor description .

Empty the donor tank and remove most of the petrol (or remove the tank and empty most of the petrol out... whatever), unplugging the sensor and fuel delivery and vacuum hoses before you completely remove the tank. On the underside of the tank, the sensor is mounted/inserted into the tank w/a large brass nut. Simply get a wrench and unscrew it, it'll come straight out. Insert unit into the new petrol tank and remember to hook everything up; should be good-to-go.
