Default Osram Cool Blue W5W - should I bother

This is my first go at a poll. Apologies if theres no poll

Once upon a lunchtime....I found these in my desk drawer.

Should I puttem in, or should i leave them in the drawer and spend an hour on the internet, stuffing my face? Currently got stock sidelights.

I know this light topic has been done before, but I don't want to put them in to find that I really might as well not have bothered.

Any opinions?

The only thing I'd say is that when I got some freeby Phillips ones from powerbulbs, I decided to put them in my car and found that the original ones had gone very dark so it was in fact a worthwhile swap. The blue doesn't really show up, they just look white to me.

+1

Again freebies from Powerbulbs. They call them "cool blue" because they're more towards that end of the spectrum and they look blue and look "cool?". Again nice and white and match the upgraded headlights better. The stock ones just look really amber if left in.

Yerp, these are freebies - they came with the Philips xtreme power ones I got. Just never got round to putting them in.

I had some as freebies too. I put one in, it lit up feebly for a couple of seconds, then blew. I binned the other.

It's a 2 minute job, what have you got to lose, a biscuit?

Noone mentioned there'd be biscuits. If there were to be any biscuits, they would be either Yoyo's or Trio's.

I'll puttem in.
