Default Fuel Exhaust Question?

I installed the new SS - non budget - oval that I brought from the NEC for a bargain £110 on Sunday - Sounds great, I also started it with a half cut exhaust (that sounded über amazing!).

So I have ridden to work with the baffle in today and tonight I took the baffle out to see what it sounded like . I now want to go to work with it out tomorrow.

So my question is....Does anything on the bike need to be adjusted because the baffle is now out? I understand its fine with the baffle in I just don't know when its out if anything need doing.

Cheers

Suck it and see really

Mine has a bit of a flat spot (lean) with the baffle out, but I know plenty people who have no trouble whatsoever.

Just try it, its not going to damage anything, 9 times out of 10 they're fine.

My curvy ran much better without the baffles, though that may have something to do with a change in riding style due to the new noise giving away every fluffed gear change and wobble on the throttle. Deinately at mid to full revs it was smoother and better running.

I started her up at 8:00am this morning and WHAT A BIG SMILE I HAD. Tried to keep it under 2500rpm to get off the estate. once on the open road (back road) slowly sped up to 65 and was loving it. The bike does seem fine and I love the sound of blipping down the gears.

ooooh yeh!! it's made my bike better!! the only possible problem i reckon is with the law. i just keep my revs down when i'm around any sort of housing or if the rozzers are around!!

Just because they are police doesn't mean they're not human, they enjoy the sound of a liberated v-twin like us all - go past bouncing off the rev-limiter

Or not.

Yeah I second that.

Had mine on the bike two years now, using it every day to ride to work.

I normally pass a Plod car once a week and I haven't had a problem (yet, touch wood).

As long as your'e not riding like an ar*e they normally look the other way.

Really tempted to get a Fuel exhaust for my K3.
What would really make mind up is if there was a big weight saving, anyone know what the difference is?

Thanks
Matt
