400cc Bandit

I know this looks really bad me wanting to sell a bike, as i have so few posts, but i have been lurking here for months and have found many threads and posts answer questions i've had without me asking.

Anyway, I have been told i have to sell my first bike, as my brother has now decided he doesn't want it.

Its a 1993 400cc Bandit. It’s got a red topped engine, and I have been told this means it’s the variable valve limited edition.

This 400cc bike is restricted to 33bhp, which makes it restricted license legal, and has done 55388km. It passed the MOT on the 17th of July, and has road tax for a year. The only things which I am aware of being wrong with it are:

-Bent rear brake lever, but this hasn’t stopped me riding it, I can still easily use it.
-One crack (which I found when cleaning it the other day) and scratches on the plastic at the back, and some on the exhaust.
-The front tyre valve seems to slowly release air, so this needs to be changed, the tyre has been checked for punctures by 2 different garages and both said there were none.

Last year I had it serviced, which included checking the engine, the front forks replaced, carbs balanced, head bearing replaced, front brakes replaced, and a fuel filtered added. I also replaced the chain and sprockets within the last year.

I brought this bike as my first (hence the restriction), and really enjoyed riding it, but have to sell it as I can’t afford to keep it and my SV.

Also included are spare front brake lever and clutch lever.

The bike is currently garaged in Billericay

I would like £700, but please make me an offer, as I can’t find any similar bikes about for sale to compare prices to.

I can vouch for bathwiggle, she's had the bandit a while and now got a sv. (not that I'm any more trustworthy than her!!)
