Well that's only 20 mph less than here, just drop your normal top speed by 20 and all should be fine.

Will those off roaders do 110?

I am tempted too, never been to a trackday, only thing that worries me is getting carried away and throwing my bike up the road (expensive) does it end up being like a club race or are people more restrained than that.

People tend to be pretty restrained, most TDs I've been on the overtakes have been very polite, plenty of room, no cutting up (apart from one I did in France with mad french men). The mixture of bike & rider abilities means it doesn't get too mad, there are plenty of people with enough self control.

I'd say Croft is a good first circuit, it is quite wide and nice and flowing, with a nice mix of corner types and large amounts of run off at most corners. A better track than say Cadwell for your first experience.

Come along and have some fun, I was amazed by riding on track for the first time, it is a completely different experience to riding on the road.

I would be ok at cadwell I think as I did most of my club racing at cadwell, although might be more inclined to get back into race mode there, croft was closed at the time I was racing (early 80,s) so would like to have a ride round there, although cadwell is about the most rewarding bike circuit in the country. I will have to give it some careful consideration and if I can leave the red mist at home I will be out on a track day.

Croft is less technical than Cadwell, but still a great circuit for a bike, loads of corners.

Hope to see you there.
