I was in bike 15 in group 1 (learners) Shoei helmet and Aprillia leathers. Had a fantatic day.

Took a bit of getting used to how far I had to wrench the twist grip to get the R6 into the power band (it don't go at below 10k, just bogs down). But after that and with the help of the drive round in the minibus at lunch time to explain the lines and following an instructor for a sesion it was the best fun in years.

Look for the DVD in the 200th issue of Fast Bikes.

he is. fast bikes were doing a test at one brands trackday I was at last year. he crashed two of the bikes on test - a zx10r & a gsxr750
