Lower fairing grommets - where from?
Does anyone know where you can get the lower fairing rubber grommets from. I have two on each side which have split and are starting to wrap around the fairing screw as I tighten them up.
I have looked on Internet sites such as Robinsons Foundry, where you can zero in on the various parts microfiche, but the lower fairings don't appear. Any ideas please? Thanks H |

Ask a Suzuki dealer. The fiche will be there somewhere but often the optional parts aren't shown.

Re: Lower fairing grommets - where from?
As you look at the fairing, there are the big metal discs or fairing washers, which I have replaced with Crash Bungs, then further forward is a small fixing nut with rubber grommet and separately at the bottom closer to the side stand is another Allen bolt, with grommet. It the two smaller ones. Four in total, two for each side.
I have spoken to Robinsons Foundry, who I have found helpful before and they say that I would need to buy the fixing kit for £128. I am sure we can find new grommets for a few quid, especially if I knew the way they measured them etc. Cheers H Last edited by Heefy; 08-11-12 at 06:04 PM. Reason: Pic added |

Re: Lower fairing grommets - where from?
what you are looking for is the same as the top fairing grommet which is part number 09320-09016 you also need the metal spacers part number 09180-06263 those actual spacers are not the ones you get with the kit but will do the job.

Re: Lower fairing grommets - where from?
Next question is where do I buy them from. Can I quote that number at my local Suzuki dealers?
