Re: Triumph 675 opinions and known issues?
Well i have only ever ridden metalhead19 for a short time but they are beautiful bikes, quite tall, but amazing to ride with stunning brakes.
It is a weird exhaust for that 675, i do prefer the arrow one

Don't know of any issues but I know I love them.......
That one is about 500 yards from my house, wish I had the wedge it would be sitting outside mine right now... Last edited by disco2; 02-05-13 at 05:38 PM. |

Re: Triumph 675 opinions and known issues?
Reg/rec were known to fail on the 06-09 models, but Triumph have announced a recall for that recently.
The cct's are not that great either, some folk have (including me) fitted manual ones, whilst others have no problems whatsoever. The engine is a tad on the noisy and vibey side, but nothing bad. Other than that I believe it's general stuff really. I've only done 3k on mine, apart from the reg failing (which Triumph kindly replaced as a good will gesture before the recall was announced), it's been smiles all round. Is this for yourself ntec? EDIT If you are looking for a 2009+ then the cct is different. A few owners have reported issued with cracks in the downpipes (don't know where exactly, but Triumps are replacing them no charge) Last edited by dyzio; 02-05-13 at 08:39 PM. |

Re: Triumph 675 opinions and known issues?
Yes my knee is feeling the weight of the RSV .
So looking at the Daytona or a Shiver GT . A new knee at 50 a bit difficult to swing on the NHS.

Re: Triumph 675 opinions and known issues?
The bike is way lighter than my old Falco, I'm not complaining about comfort (after a few 250 mile days) but it's a ss600 so your knees aren't relaxed.
It's not a v2 but torque is pretty good, be prepared to drop a few gears to get most out of it though. Fuel wise, you'll be in for a nice surprise |
