maybe start a scrap book or even a memory wall? This one's mine from the last 18 months.. Little bits from days out and trips away all stuck on a bit of foamex board on my wall.

On our anniversary I print out love poems and **** like that and stick them on the walls between the bedroom and the kitchen...

Last anniversary I found an anniversary letter on tinternet, got some heavy weight paper, a used tea bag made it look old burnt the edges and printed the letter on it in sans script writing, framed it and tada one amazing present

I use to be romantic, candle lit dinners, spontaneous evening meals, lunch / picnic at the park but when you have 3 kids under 5 that **** just don't happen anymore...

Just like sex... Haha

Good luck buddy, it's hard to keep the romance.

My missus appreciates a kiss and a cuddle when she is feeling down too...

Coming up with a route for us to go out for a ride together is one of the most romantic things that he can do, and then finding the time for us to actually go and do it, the best. He did once give me a note promising to do the ironing for me at a time of my choosing, and he did it all without complaint when I cashed it in, that to me was better than any flowers could ever be. Never flowers at work as we work together and the blasted things look lovely for a few days and then just die, how sad is that, and as they are a gift I always find myself keeping them for too long.

Never understood why ppl like to receive flowers to show love...

Your basically saying I love you for a few days then my love dies like these flowers...

When you buy flowers for a female, it increases their happiness.

The female's happiness levels will however then drop back to OEM levels, long before the flowers die, due to emotions, chemical imbalances, or menstrual cycles etc.

If the flowers lasted for a month or two, it would be a burden for them to water the flowers, thus actually making them less happy over time.



To summarize, you are buying them flowers to make them feel happy for that moment of time that you'd like them to feel happy for.
If you want to buy a women a gift to show them your love forever, forget it - you'll never be rich enough, good looking enough, not spontaneous enough, not nice enough, too nice, don't take things seriously, take things too seriously....

If your missus is anything like mine, whatever gesture you make will never be enough.

Going that extra mile has to become the norm.

I think mine is trying to kill me off for the insurance money.....protect yourself, tell her the life insurance is canceled.


Seriously. If you want to treat her. Get yourself on the diet, down to the gym. Become healthier, fitter. And remind her what you used to do all night.
