Re: Massacre logo/t-shirts
That is smart... Very impressed.
I have no idea how much work this is- I've never done design work with modern software, last time I did logo work I used a BBC Micro- but would it be possible to rework it for a smaller image... I'm thinking around 50x60mm, so larger text for clarity, maybe lose the dates? For use as an avatar maybe, possibly vinyl stickers if that's doable. Er, only other thing is that I'm not sure about using the annual rideout monicker, that's traditionally been specific to the big one. But I can't think of anything else to use to be honest, it just sounds right. I don't know if this is just me overthinking things, but I'll run it past the boss Nice work Stuartyboy!

Re: Massacre logo/t-shirts
Wow that looks fantastic. I'd be up for shelling out cash for one of those

Re: Massacre logo/t-shirts
OK - another version below - more motorcycle(ish)
The beer logo one was based on the idea that beer will be drunk in some quantity over the weekend and it can easily be adapted for further years if this takes off. I'm leaving the versions as is so the most popular will be the one to be used. I can have these as large as you want or as small as you want. So if you want to use as an avatar, sticker, etc no problems. They look fantastic on t-shirts - just transferred one via that iron on stuff. I can also provide names of members attending in hi res format so the t-shirts, stickers can be personalised. For those of you with boobies (probably half the men lol) it will catch the eye and make a great conversation piece. Piccie below Quote:

Re: Massacre logo/t-shirts
I like both designs, so will be happy with either, as long as I get one

Re: Massacre logo/t-shirts
Er...that 2nd one reminds me of a government campaign (not sure why ) and it's clearly not an SV.
But the first one is ace |

Re: Massacre logo/t-shirts
I think the second one's probably better but it seems a wee bit generic-bike-event, the first one's got a bit more style to it. So I prefer the first.

Re: Massacre logo/t-shirts
Much like what I did below but better, I'm no expert with graphics packages, though anyone who wants to use that is welcome....
I too prefer the beer label, it'll look ace on a black T Shirt! Stuarty - please can you stick up a Hi-Res version of the beer label that can be taken to a T Shirt shop? Last edited by -Ralph-; 08-07-08 at 09:00 PM. |
