Another old lump of plastic and metal caught me in a ' I don't really want or need it but it's only just over the price of a pint' dilemma in a charity shop.
I now have a Prinz Saturn 35, whatever that is. Not much on the net about it but it seems to be an Olympus Trip clone with CDS meter and works manually if there's no battery.

Lol, I have one of those but mine is badged as a Halina 35-600. Paid way too much for it! I also bought an Olympus AZ300 superzoom in a fit of madness for £2.50. Any good to anyone? 252967426350

Looks like the XA2 won't be mine (phew!). Am still wrestling with a Kiev. I'm wondering if it'll be a bit like the Contessa 35, nice but a bit fiddly to use, but really if I could afford a Contax instead I'd keep it regardless of how fiddly it is. There are a couple looking good but around the £50 mark. I guess none of them are really bargains, and as they're 60-70 years old they're not about to go off the market anyway. I feel a bit bad that I have a few cameras that I haven't done much with since I bought them, and a few more that need some tickling, so i guess I'm talking myself out of it. Maybe I'll hang on for a bargain instead of jumping too quickly. First world problems!

AZ300 looks like a good buy Kenzie. Should have a nice lens on it
Johnny, just buy the Kiev. It'll relieve you of all that mental wrangling and worry .. and if you don't like it just sell it on. You probably won't lose anything.

Ugly as sin though. Batteries cost more than the camera!

Not had a chance yet. The seller of the 600 also sent me a roll of Agfa Vista Plus, so that will be going in. I plan to go out on the m/c tomorrow so I might take that rather than the 700d.

Film isn't a problem but thanks for the offer. We have Kodak, Fuji and Ilford films in stock in our shop and it sells pretty well. We can't develop the film in shop, so I'll send it off to our usual lab and get the negs processed only. I can then scan them.
